Ingredients
- 125g soft butter
- 100g honey
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- ¼ tsp. ground cloves
- 2 tsp. cocoa powder
- 125g ground hazelnuts
- 175g wholemeal spelt flour
Preparation
- Beat together the butter, honey, egg and rosewater until frothy.
- Add the cinnamon, cloves, cocoa, hazelnuts and flour, then knead the mixture.
- Cover the mixture and leave to stand in the fridge for two hours.
- Roll the dough into balls and bake for 10-15 minutes at 200°.
